COVID-19 UPDATE

Effective immediately, all volunteer opportunities are cancelled through April 5, 2020

We want you to know that we are taking every step necessary to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety and health of our volunteers, clients, donors, community partners, and employees is of utmost importance to Volunteers of America Michigan.

Our preventative steps follow the recommendations of the CDC and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).

Effective immediately, all volunteer opportunities are cancelled through April 5, 2020. In addition, we are closing volunteer registration for any opportunity moving forward until we know more. This decision has been made to protect you, our clients, and employees.

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we too may adjust our approach and response. Until then, we will continue to follow the guidelines that have been provided to us.

We cannot thank you enough for all of your support and are looking forward to reuniting again when it is safe to do so.

Many of you still want to help, and YOU CAN from the comfort and safety of your own home.

Volunteers of America Michigan has set up an easy to navigate system, Neighbors in Need.

You can select a location near you and have essential supplies sent directly to those in need without leaving the safety of their home.
