Who we are
Volunteers of America is the largest provider of affordable housing for seniors in the nation. We are a family of trained professionals, dedicated volunteers, and community leaders, united with a cause of helping and empowering our neighbors.
For 125 years, we have been lifting up seniors, families, and veterans across the state. Our work touches the mind, body, heart – and ultimately the spirit – of those we serve, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.

For seniors, maintaining independence is important. We provide housing for seniors who want to live independent lifestyles where they can thrive and age in place. Our senior residents deserve the quality of life that they desire and our commitment to service-enriched housing offers them just that.
Families
Our properties provide low-income working families a place to call home. In addition to larger units with two, three and four bedrooms, we provide services that help to address the needs of both children and their parents. By providing families with the space they need and services that help parents and their children thrive, we help families build communities.
