You opened the door just when Peggy needed it most
Peggy was born in Georgia. Growing up with six siblings, she was always taught to care for and serve others. During her 54 years married to a minister, Peggy continued to show her love for community.
When her husband passed away six years ago, the two-story house she was living in became too much to maintain. Peggy needed to find affordable housing without the upkeep, and close enough to her five daughters and five grandchildren.
Then, she found our senior housing program.
Peggy is a joy to those around her and is always going above and beyond for other residents in the building. She is still involved with her church and even sings in the choir. Peggy is thankful for a secure place to call home near her church and for the friendships she has made.
