Thousands of individuals across Michigan have joined the Volunteers of America Michigan family. Anyone who is willing to step-up and help us in our mission to serve the most vulnerable by volunteering their time or making a financial contribution becomes a part of our family. No contribution is too small.
Volunteers like you are critical to the mission and daily work of Volunteers of America Michigan. You make it possible to help those in need. There are a variety of ways to get involved. Volunteer opportunities fit almost any schedule, and we accommodate both individuals and groups up to 30. Volunteer opportunities are available 7 days per week and can accommodate both individuals and groups.
You can serve meals to the hungry, hold your own donation drive, beautify our veterans garden, join our seniors in building a puzzle, help in the office and so much more.

Help homeless students start out school on an equal playing field by arming them with a backpack of school supplies! We need donations and volunteers to make this program successful.
Support Our Thrift Stores
These thrift stores are more than meets the eye. All profits are used to support our social services across the state and it’s our volunteers that make them so great.
