How long have you worked with VOAMI? I’ve had the privilege of being part of the VOA family for almost two years.
What is your biggest takeaway from your job? The most rewarding aspect of my role is witnessing the tangible impact of our collective efforts. It’s incredible to see how teamwork and collaboration can create lasting change. Knowing that my work helps improve lives and provides hope to those who need it most is deeply fulfilling.
What does it mean to you to be helping others? Helping others means making a positive impact in someone’s life, no matter how big or small. It’s about offering support, sharing knowledge, and showing empathy when it’s needed most. To me, it’s not just about solving problems—it’s about being present, building trust, and contributing to a culture where people feel valued and empowered.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given? One piece of advice that has always resonated with me is: “Focus on what you can control, and let the rest fall into place.” It’s a reminder to stay grounded and focus on the areas where I can make the greatest difference.

What fills your time outside of work? Spending time with my two sons, Jayden and Cameron, playing sports and video games.
Who is your hero? Why? My father is my hero because of the strength, wisdom, and integrity he shows in everything he does. He has always been someone I can rely on—whether it’s through his steady support during difficult times or the quiet lessons he teaches through his actions. He leads by example, works hard without complaining, and puts others before himself. He treats people with kindness, respect, and patience. He’s taught me the importance of perseverance, humility, and doing the right thing, even when it’s hard. Watching how he handles life’s challenges has inspired me to become a better person.
