U.S. Army veteran Toni Gordon received a life-changing gift when she was surprised with a refurbished vehicle through the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides program. Gordon, who had to sell her car to fund her pursuit of a PhD, was gifted the vehicle through a collaboration between Pat Milliken Ford, Volunteers of America Michigan, and Allstate. The moment brought tears to her eyes as years of stress lifted from her shoulders, giving her not just transportation, but a fresh start on her journey forward.
