Veterans and community members came together in Corktown for Detroit’s annual Veterans Day Parade, honoring the service and sacrifice of those who have worn the uniform. Volunteers of America Michigan proudly took part, with CEO Aubrey Macfarlane and the veterans outreach team joining Coast Guard veteran Tim Clair as they represented the organization’s ongoing commitment to those who served.
The parade served as a moment of reflection and gratitude, highlighting VOA Michigan’s mission to support veterans year-round through housing, employment, and community programs that help them build stability and hope.
