Who are we?
We are a family committed to going wherever we are needed to provide essential, life-changing, services for veterans, seniors and families right here in Michigan.
What do we do?
We are the largest private provider of services to veterans and their families. We offer affordable, dignified housing to seniors, the disabled, and families. Our Adopt a Family program helps make Christmas bright for struggling families.
We appreciate your trust and invite you to see, firsthand, what we have accomplished through your support and meet the people you help.
If you would like to arrange a tour, contact Laura LeBlanc at lleblanc@voami.org.
Live Dessert Chefs Challenge
Three metro Detroit pastry chefs will face-off to create a mouth-watering dessert from a mystery basket of ingredients.
The chefs will have just thirty minutes to prepare, cook, and plate their dishes. They will be judged by a panel of two experts and one guest from the event.
At the beginning of the evening, ONE JUDGE'S SPOT WILL BE AUCTIONED OFF. The winning bidder will get to join the other judges on stage during the cook-off to talk with the chefs, learn their techniques, and sample their creations.
The dishes created will be tasted by all three judges, and only one chef will be named: VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA MICHIGAN'S MASTER CHEF!
What does your support provide?
- A better life for veterans
- Safe, comfortable, affordable housing for seniors and families
- The hope that Christmas brings to struggling families
- THESE ARE IN OUR HANDS
It is up to us to work together to ensure that Volunteers of America Michigan is able to continue providing each of our critical services. We thank you for joining hands with this family of service.
