Helping Michigan's Most Vulnerable

Delta Dental Clinic

The Delta Dental Clinic is a full Medicaid dental clinic for underserved people in need of dental care. It opened in February 2017 to add to the comprehensive homeless center in Lansing at Volunteers of America Michigan.

The dental clinic is operated by Volunteers of America Michigan and provides regular and advanced dental cleaning, partial and full dentures, and tooth extractions, including wisdom teeth. The clinic does not provide root canals (endodontics) but provides referrals to other offices in the community.

The clinic accepts people with Medicaid and veterans with an approved VA Dental treatment plan. Patients without insurance are encouraged to sign up for insurance through the partnering agencies in the New Hope Day Center.

Clients need a Service Point Card to access the Delta Dental Clinic. Once they fill out the proper paperwork, appointments are made. The clinic does accept walk-in appointments based on availability. If a client misses two scheduled appointments, they only can come on a walk-in basis.

The Delta Dental Clinic is opened Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed for the noon hour, coinciding with the Sparrow Medical Group schedule.
