Volunteers of America Michigan's Veterans Community Housing and Community Services are CARF Accredited!
In February 2012, Volunteers of America Michigan received its second three-year accreditation. CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of human service providers.
CARF bases its accreditation on established standards of quality for organizations to use as guidelines in developing and offering their programs or services to consumers. CARF uses standards to determine how well an organization is serving its consumers and how it can improve.
Regarded as the standard of professional excellence, being a Three-Year, CARF-Accredited Agency, Volunteers of America Michigan is set apart as a service provider that demonstrates a commitment to continued enhancement in quality services and programs, and a focus on consumer satisfaction.
