Sponsor A Family For Christmas!
There are 2 ways to sponsor a family this Christmas:
Cash donations or Direct Sponsorship.
Both sponsorship opportunities will help families in need right here in Michigan.

Cash Donations
Your cash donation will help provide clothes, toys and food for a family in need. We join together your cash donations, with donations of new toys and clothes and we are able to purchase items at discounted rates to provide a special Christmas to families in need. Our Christmas Store is set up so that selected families can come and pick out items for their children including new toys, new clothing and food for the whole family. A donation of $150 will help support a family of 4 -- of course, ANY donation amount is appreciated!
Direct Sponsorship
A Hands-on approach to helping families in need for Christmas! As a direct sponsor you will:
- Select a family(ies) to adopt
- Receive the wish list and contact information for the family(ies)
- Contact the family(ies) you have selected to let them know they have been adopted
- Buy, Wrap and Deliver a Christmas to remember to a family in need!
- You will need to provide AT LEAST:
- One NEW toy or gift item for each child
- One NEW winter outfit (or winter coats/boots) for each child
- A means of a Christmas dinner for the family (usually a gift card to a grocery store like Meijer or Kmart - $75 for a family of 4, add $25 for each additional family member)

The application period to receive assistance for Christmas 2012 is now CLOSED.
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE ADOPTED!!!!!!!!
We always have far more applicants than we are able to serve.
IF you are selected by a sponsor, you will receive a call from our office or from your sponsor. Usually by December 20th.
If you are NOT ADOPTED you WILL NOT HEAR FROM US.
We work through Christmas Eve to try and get as many families adopted as possible, but
not everyone who is approved will be adopted.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL To check on the status of your application. We need to keep the phone lines open so we can assist sponsors that will help families!
If you have submitted your paperwork and are qualified, we will try to identify a sponsor for your family but again - THERE IS NO GUARANTEE that your family will be adopted.

If we do not receive your required documentation, your application will NOT be approved.
Any changes needed to your account MUST be directed to the Adopt A Family office. Be sure to notify us if your phone number changes!
