3rd Annual Athletes Adopting Families Gala

Volunteers of America Michigan’s 3rd Annual Athletes Adopting Families presented by O’Brien Construction and hosted in part by Stonebridge Financial was held on December 5, 2011 at The Reserve in Birmingham. Attendees were treated to a night of music, dancing, cocktails and great food as they mixed and mingled together with some of

Detroit’s elite athletes such as Detroit Lions 4x All-Pro Wide Receiver Herman Moore, 7x All Pro and Super bowl Champion Lomas Brown, current Detroit Lions standouts Louis Delmas, Stephen Tulloch and Nate Burleson. Several current and past NBA Stars were also in attendance such as Jimmy King, Ben Gordon, Charlie Villanueva, 2011 Draft Pick Vernon Macklin, and Pistons original Bad Boy, Rick Mahorn.

All proceeds from this fundraiser went to support families in need this Christmas.
