Volunteers of America Michigan will take donations of your old cell phones!

You may not realize that even your 5-6 year old cell phones have a value - and that value can make a real difference for people in need right here in Michigan!

When you donate your old cell phone, Volunteers of America Michigan has an exclusive partnership with Battery Solutions, Inc.  that will reuse and recycle the components of your phone (with strict adherence to EPA guidelines) and provide Volunteers of America Michigan with 55% of the proceeds from each and every phone.

How does it work?

1.  Download a pre-paid label here

2.  Place your used cell phone in a heavy duty envelope and affix the label.

3.  Drop it in the mail.

That's it!  Your phone will be reused, recycled and make a difference for someone in need!

If you don't want to mail your phone, beginning July1, 2008 - you will be able to drop your donation off at any Volunteers of America Michigan service center, housing facility, thrift store or office.  Call for more information.  248.945.0101

Thank you for your donation!

Please contact Emilie Rohrbach at 248.945.0101 ext. 114 if you have any questions about your donation.
